Quick Update (4/26/17).  Reunion planning is nearly complete.  Nothing has changed regarding the dates: August 18-20, 2017.  Thank you to all who have responded to our earlier communications and for your patience as plans are finalized.  The Sheraton Pasadena will be the "headquarters" hotel, serving as a gathering place for classmates between planned events from Friday through Sunday.  Classmates are welcome to seek other accommodations if the Sheraton is not satisfactory.  The reunion dinner will be held Saturday night, August 19, 2017, at the University Club beginning at 4:00 PM.  A buffet-style dinner will be served, very similar to that of the 55th year reunion.  The price for the reunion dinner will be determined soon after the contract with the University Club is reviewed.  It is planned that a Memory Book for classmates will be included in the price. The cut-off date for reservations for the reunion dinner is August 16, 2017, when a final count is due to the University Club.  A more formal notice will appear soon, with details for reunion dinner payments and making reservations at the Sheraton Pasadena.  We look forward to a very successful 60th year class reunion.

Quick Update (2/7/17).  Negotiations with prospective hotels in Pasadena have been difficult.  Many want a contract signed by the class, with certain guarantees for the number of rooms and no-show compensation.  They also want a class "credit card" to hold the rooms.  The Reunion Committee is not willing to take on these open-ended risks.  Consequently, we are negotiating with the Sheraton Pasadena to be our reunion headquarters.  The arrangements will be identical with what we had at the 55th reunion with the Hilton Pasadena.  The Sheraton is located at the corner of Euclid and Cordova, directly behind the Pasadena Civic Auditorium and a block away from the Hilton.  A "Courtesy Block" of rooms will be set aside for classmates, who will make their own reservations using their own credit card.  We will soon be providing pricing information for the 60th class reunion.  Notice will be by e-mail to those with valid addresses or by "snail-mail" to all others.  The information will also be posted to the class website.

Preliminary Reunion Information.  The Pasadena High School 60th year class reunion will be held on August 18-20, 2017 in Pasadena.  The reunion dinner will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at the University Club.  We are finalizing negotiating with the Sheraton Pasadena as reunion headquarters.  We are a little time away from being able to to inform classmates of the prices for attending the reunion.  In the meantime, we are working hard to get the lowest possible prices for the reunion.

The most important task in preparation for the 60th reunion is verifying our class roster, so that we can contact YOU regarding reunion plans.  Please, please keep us informed of your new home and e-mail addresses if you have any changes.  This can be conveniently done following the instructions of the UPDATE YOUR INFORMATION PROFILE link.  As many already have, "bookmark" or "make favorite" our PHS Class of 1957 website address.  All important reunion details will be provided on the website leading up to the reunion itself.

If you know the where-abouts of any of our "lost" classmates, please take the time to provide us the information.  Our goal is have up-to-date status for all 847 classmates in our database!

We currently have confirmed contact information for 468 classmates.  Of these, we have e-mail addresses for 359 classmates (77%).   For your information, the Hilton Hotel in Pasadena served as the "headquarters" for those requiring accommodations for the 55th class reunion. The Saturday reunion dinner was held at the University Club on North  Oakland Avenue in Pasadena.

We have contacted the "official" Pasadena High School Website, where they post Alumni Reunion information.  They have added our upcoming 60th Reunion to their list (follow the links to Alumni/Reunions), including our class website Internet address.  Maybe, just maybe, some of our "lost" classmates might find us this way.
